The Convention alternates each year between Europe and North America and for the 2012 event it is Europe's turn.
Recognising the need to minimise costs, we have selected Riga, Latvia for its value, accessibility and the attractiveness of this ancient city.
RADISSON BLU DAUGAVA HOTEL:
The Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel is a 4 star facility situated on the left bank of the Daugava River, with great views directly across the river of The Old City. By the Akmens Bridge, the lovely Old City is just a pleasant 10 minute stroll across the bridge.
Just a short 12 km / fifteen minute taxi journey from the airport, the hotel offers comfort and enjoyment and has excellent facilities for our Convention and Delegates.
Standard rooms are available as river view or garden view with the garden view rooms slightly larger and higher grade rooms are also available. For smokers, there are some rooms with smoking permitted.
Every room has wi-fi, coffee maker, safe, mini-bar, etc., with guests having access to the excellent pool, fitness centre and sauna.
But that is not all - the Radisson Blu Daugava is the choice of VIP visitors. In recent years guests have included Britain's Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, Spain's Queen Sofia, the Japanese Emperor and Empress, plus a certain George W!

 SPECIAL DISCOUNTED ACCOMMODATION RATE:
We have negotiated some very special rates for our group and can offer overnight accommodation plus hot breakfast in the Daugava from only euro 65 (including 12% VAT, which is reclaimable). How about that for a high-quality, city hotel?
EXTENDED STAY RATES: Even better is that the hotel has kindly agreed to extend the special rate offered for attendees beyond the Convention dates. For your further pleasure or business use, that low rate is available from Friday June 22 up to and including Monday July 2!
(In fact, the weekend before the Convention sees Latvia's Midsummer Celebrations, one of the county's most significant festivals. Come early and enjoy Riga at a special time)!

For reservations after that date, the discounted rate or room availability may not be available.
TAX: The Registration fees include the standard rate of VAT, 22%, which is reclaimable in the normal way. (Hotel accommodation includes VAT at 12%).

 BOOKING YOUR ACCOMMODATION
The hotel has 361 rooms and suites on nine floors, but, of course, only a proportion of those will be held for our group and our discounts. We expect Riga to be a popular location for our attendees, so to avoid disappointment or added costs, please book early!
Standard rooms offer a choice of river view or garden view, with garden view rooms being a little larger.
The hotel requires all attendees to make their accommodation reservations direct with them.
To book your accommodation, we have a dedicated reservation form to identify you as an attendee, which is provided as a download. Please go to the Register page of the website for the link to the form. This can be emailed or faxed to the hotel, as you wish.

We strongly suggest that you should book your hotel and make your delegate registration at the same time, so the accommodation and registration lists match.
