Day by day:
All Convention activities take place in and around the Liberty Ballroom of the Sonesta Hotel.
The Speaker Programme covers three days, which we fill with presentations for maximum information and so value for money. We aim to provide up to 11 presentations (subject to their length of time) followed by a focused discussion forum each day, plus the possibilities of optional Technical Workshops. We will continue to keep the level of networking time that we build in as high as possible.
MONDAY JUNE 3, 2013
This is our set-up and speaker familiarization day where all systems should be ready for familiarization by 16.00.
A registration desk will be set up in the Ballroom Foyer between 16.30 and 20.00.
Most attendees arrive today, so the networking opportunities start early in a very convivial way with a Welcome Reception between 18.00 - 22.00.
TUESDAY JUNE 4, 2013
Today we feature our storage specific programme of presentations; "MAXIMISING STORAGE QUALITY AND RETURN" (which is open to the whole industry).
We invite all attendees to begin networking by joining us in the function area for a complimentary continental breakfast and welcome coffee served between 8.00 and 9.00, ready for a prompt start to the programme. We plan to offer 10-11 highly interesting presentations plus a Sprout Suppressant Discussion Forum (and possibly two Technical Workshops). Registration is open from 08.00 onwards.
The day moves from the formal speaker programme to the Discussion Forum at approximately 17.30, when a one-hour free bar to provide further networking opportunities is provided. The exhibition area will be open between 08.00 and 18.30.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 5, 2013
Today is the "all industry" day, with a programme of presentations of importance and interest for all attendees; "INDUSTRY IMPACTS". Again, up to 11 useful presentations of interest 'to all' are projected (and possibly two Technical Workshops).
Again the day moves from the formal speaker programme to a Discussion Forum at approximately 17.30, which will focus on the wide topic of sanitation. Again we offer the one-hour free networking bar for further networking opportunities, which tonight is offered with the kind
sponsorship of Buhler Aeroglide.
The exhibition area will be open between 08.00 and 18.30.
Previous Wednesday evenings offered a Gala Dinner, but such is the value of networking and meetings at this event, many suggested this should be dropped.
THURSDAY JUNE 6, 2013
Today we feature our processing specific programme; "TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS FOR IMPROVED PROCESSING" (with all the industry welcome).
Again we provide complimentary continental breakfast between 08.00 and 09.00 before starting the 'processing' programme, again with up to 11 presentations projected (plus possibly two Technical Workshops), followed by a Discussion Forum, this time on Sustainability.
The day (and the convention) will finish at approximately 17.30, when again we offer the one-hour free networking bar for further networking opportunities, which tonight is offered with the kind sponsorship of
Novozymes.
FRIDAY JUNE 7, 2013 - Optional Extra - Field Trip
Open to all attendees with our compliments, today we offer a field trip into the potato industry of Pennsylvania. The plans include visits to a fry operation, two potato chip manufacturers and a storage facility. This will be a full and interesting day and details will follow when available. However, the numbers will be limited and offered on a first booked basis. You can reserve your place on the trip on the Registration page.
DELEGATES ARE INVITED TO JOIN US FOR ALL THREE DAYS TO MAXIMISE THE OPPORTUNITIES AND VALUE OFFERED. IF YOU CANNOT, DAY DELEGATE REGISTRATIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
