Day by day:
All Convention activities take place in and around the Courtyard and George Suite , of the Roxburghe Hotel.
The Speaker Programme covers three days, which we fill with presentations for maximum information and so value for money. We aim to provide up to 11 presentations each day (subject to their length of time) plus the possibilities of a Technical Workshops programme and a special CIPC discussion forum, whilst keeping the level of networking time that we build in as high as possible.
MONDAY JUNE 21, 2010.
This is our set-up and speaker familiarization day where all systems should be ready for familiarization by 16.00.
A registration desk will be set up in the Courtyard between 16.30 and 20.00.
No formal activities are arranged for this evening so you are free to enjoy the City on your doorstep.
TUESDAY JUNE 22, 2010.
Today we feature our storage specific programme of presentations; MAXIMISING STORAGE QUALITY AND RETURN (which is open to the whole industry).
We invite all attendees to begin networking by joining us in the function area for a complimentary (but good) continental breakfast and welcome coffee served between 8.00 and 9.00, ready for a prompt start to the programme. We plan to offer 10-11 highly interesting presentations plus a sprout suppressant discussion forum (and possibly two Technical Workshops). Registration is open from 08.00 onwards.

The day moves from the formal speaker programme to the Sprout Suppressant Discussion Forum at approximately 17.30, when Potato Processing International and Potato Storage International magazines host a one-hour free bar to provide further networking opportunities.
The exhibition area will be open between 08.00 and 18.30.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 23, 2010.
Today is the industry day, with a programme of presentations of importance and interest for all attendees; INDUSTRY IMPACTS. Again, up to 11 useful presentations of interest to all are projected (and possibly two Technical Workshops).
We again offer a complimentary networking continental breakfast between 08.00 and 09.00, ready for a prompt start to the days proceedings.
The exhibition area will be open between 08.00 and 17.30.
We expect to finish at approximately 17.30. There is not a hosted bar today because:
SPECIAL 18.30 (for 19.30) - 22.00: : This evening, Potato Processing International and Potato Storage International will host the Convention Gala Dinner with a fantastic menu and uniquely Scottish entertainment. This is inclusive for full delegates. Tickets for guests are available at £65 each.
THURSDAY JUNE 24, 2010.
Today we feature the "Processing Specific" programme: TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS FOR IMPROVED PROCESSING (with all the industry welcome).
Again we provide complimentary continental breakfast between 08.00 and 09.00 before starting the processing programme, again with up to 11 presentations projected (plus two Technical Workshops).
The day (and the convention) will finish at approximately 17.30 when the Convention will finish in splendid style!
We will again host a one-hour networking bar (sponsored by Novozymes) but we will also feature a unique, SCOTCH WHISKY TASTING with our compliments (You will also have the opportunity to buy some special whisky, if you wish).
DELEGATES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND FOR ALL THREE DAYS TO MAXIMISE THE OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED. REGISTRATION COSTS ARE THE SAME FOR 2 OR 3 DAYS.
WHISKY TASTING:
No visit to Scotland would be complete without sampling a wee dram and that is what we have arranged for Thursday June 22, with our compliments. The Scottish Whisky Society will present a collection of whiskies for you to sample and will have bottles to purchase if you wish.
ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW:
