Testimonials:

We have been holding this event since 1997. During this time, the Convention has evolved in response to feedback from attendees.
Shortly after each event, we follow up with all attendees to assess their satisfaction and invite comments relating to any changes they would like to see made to the structure and, of course, to ask them what they really thought of the event. When we receive responses, we also ask if we would be permitted to use those comments in our testimonials.

Below are some of the comments received in very recent years that we were permitted to use:

A good convention! Good information! Personally I learned a few new things so I am happy.
Kees Jansen van Roosendaal, Lamb Weston Meijer (The Netherlands)

Yes, another successful conference. Good speakers and an excellent networking opportunity with good value. Ideas, knowledge transfer is vital for our industry and the split of the two topics is balanced well. Time frame of the conference is ideal. Good networking with like minded people with differing ideas.
Tim Kitson, North Norfolk Potato Growers, UK

I day dedication to each sector / area is a good idea.
Nick Revels, Radix Systems (UK)

The Convention was well received by us and others I have spoken with. Overall the convention is well organized with a friendly atmosphere.
Adrian Cunnington, Potato Council (UK)

I thought the event was well organized. I think a busy schedule is good - people can always skip a presentation and not miss a significant portion of the programme. Getting together for 'end of day' drinks works.
Adrian Briddon, Potato Council (UK)

Yes, we learned a lot and met the right people. There was also a good balance in topics.
We liked the structure and in general the whole convention was very good!
Marco Blumenthal, Zweifel Pomy-Chips (Switzerland)

A great conference this year!
Ole Solberg, Hoff, Norway

I do enjoy the conference as I learn something new every time I go. I have met people that I would not in the normal course of business and this is excellent in my opinion.
Jerry Bell, GEM Equipment, USA

I always find great value out of the meeting - interacting with people from all over the world.
Nora Olsen, University of Idaho, USA

Everything was very well organized - we are impressed with the convention.
Selynn Vong, Pace International, USA

Overall I would rate the Convention as outstanding in regards to location and speaker presentations.
Brian Donaldson, Gellert, USA

The convention offers value for money and is worth attending.
Frank Magazine, Emerald Foam Control, USA

The convention offers value for money, a chance to network and a wide range of research topics are presented.
John Immaraju, AMVAC, USA

The IPPSC is a valuable annual venue for me to connect with people in the potato industry that I do not otherwise contact. Every year, the convention presents issues, solutions, industry directions, etc. that broaden my perception of what is going on. The convention creates an atmosphere where creative ideas germinate.
The recent convention in Edinburgh was particularly valuable to me. It was the best-attended IPPSC convention I have attended to date, and so afforded me some rich, new contacts in the industry. It was very well-run, keeping crisply to schedule, with appropriate presentation content and quality. And the venue, meals and entertainment were delightful.
I would highly recommend attendance for any professional in the potato industry. Money and time very well spent.
Tim Reardon, Key Technology (USA)

The Convention is an excellent opportunity to meet a lot of people in a short period of time.
The structure is good.
Martin Jansen Klomp, HZPC (The Netherlands)

Very important for me were the presentations (especially storage), direct contact and discussion with other participants of the Convention and the possibility to meet world potato experts.
Boleslaw Harackiewicz, Farm Frites (Poland)

For me, it was value for money
Heinz Frozen Foods (UK)

The annual event is for BEST a good opportunity to get into contact with experts from the industry and to share knowledge about different industry aspects. It is for us an excellent platform to expose our innovations and strategy to a very targeted audience.
The venue and organization of this year's event was again well up to our expectations. We would certainly recommend other potato industry companies to be present at this annual event, since networking with peers, a great atmosphere and creative idea generation are always part of these events.
Steve Raskin, BEST Sorting (Belgium)

Excellent value!
Ken Hancock, Vanmark (UK)

I think it was good as it not only gave you ideas on what we can improve on but it also set up a great network to meet people in the same industry. I thought this was well done and I have no complaints.
Ross McCallum, Talley's Group (New Zealand)

It was a great opportunity to meet people in the Potato Industry.
Paul van Eijck, PotatoPro (Canada)

One difference of IPP&SC is that it presents much 'practical information'.
Dr. Michael Lewis, Decco (USA)

Another excellent Convention. Well done!!
The Networking Bar is a really good idea, and very effective.
Barbara Daniels-Lake, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

Excellent presentations, definitely busy. The structure seems to work.
I was very pleased with the storage section presentations.  I think this audience and group will help advance the industry.
